Caving

So you’re chilling at home and your buddy goes, “wanna go for a hike and check out some caves”? Naturally you say yes because why not. You arrive to the trail, suns out and the vibes are great. You enter your first cave and it’s pretty darn cool. You enter your second cave and it’s also pretty darn cool. You crawl down into your third cave annnnnd, your buddy gets on all fours and wiggles into what looks like the entrance to the catacombs. Pure darkness, no sound and the walls are starting to get tighter, yeah this was a great idea…

With warmer weather right around the corner hundreds of people will soon flock to local trails for some adventure. If you’re one of them, and climbing into a cave seems like a good idea, well… it is? Make sure it’s not sketchy though! Some caves are marked and we only recommend going into ones that have been deemed safe by park/trail officials. That being said, animals and insects seek refuge i these dark cooler areas so be sure to keep an eye out for anything lurking in the dark.

The underground word is interesting, and full of surprises. So grab a flashlight, a trail buddy and some snacks before submerging yourself under the earths crust.

Just watch out for creepy crawlers
